St Andrew’s CE VA Primary School Radcliffe

‘Together we love, we learn, we shine’

Welcome

Together, we love, we learn, we shine.

A warm welcome to St Andrew's Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School and thank you for your interest in our school. We hope that you will find our website interesting and that it will answer many of your questions about who we are and what we do, but please remember that there is no substitute for a visit.

We are extremely proud of our school and the part it plays in serving our local community. St Andrew's is a Voluntary Aided school affiliated to the Church of England, and it enjoys strong links with St Andrew's church and the Diocese of Manchester. The school's Christian ethos and our school commitment permeate all areas of school life.

We believe strongly that school should be fun and that each child has the right to be encouraged and nurtured to reach their full potential. We provide a broad and stimulating curriculum within a friendly, happy and secure environment. We pride ourselves on high academic standards, but also place great emphasis on the development of the whole child and aim to prepare each child to take the next step in their education with confidence and with an understanding of the world in which they live.

One of the best ways to decide if our school is right for you is to visit us during a normal day when you can see the children at work and experience our caring, friendly atmosphere at first hand. You are welcome to visit during school hours to meet myself, staff and pupils - please telephone if you would like to make an appointment.

We look forward to meeting you and your child.

Best wishes,

Mrs. Ellis
Headteacher
