History is highly regarded and well-loved at St. Andrew's. We have devised a curriculum bespoke to our school community based around the National Curriculum and which focuses on the needs and interests of our children (including the study of our local area).

From Nursery to Year 6, our History curriculum at St Andrew’s is carefully planned and structured to ensure that current learning is linked to previous learning and that children's historical skills and knowledge progress year-on-year.

We enrich and enhance our historical knowledge and skills through visitors and trips regularly across each year group as we know how important experiences are when consolidating our learning.
